Massage: Michelle completed both the large animal and small animal massage programs at the Northwest School of Animal Massage with a remarkable final mark of 98%. In addition to training in technical massage techniques Michelle has formal education in horse and dog anatomy, kinesiology, conformation and gait analysis, as well as animal behavior.
Riding Instruction: Michelle has a combined 30 years of experience in the horse industry including national, provincial and local circuit level competitive riding both western, english, and cart and carraige. She has 15 years of succesful coaching and judging to draw upon to provide high quality, competitive level horseback riding lessons and judging services.
Canine: Michelle also draws upon ten years of practical experience in the animal industry in a diversity of settings such as shelter work, 10 years in 4-H as a member and leader developing skills in animal care and first aid.
Sport Psychology: Michelle combines a keen understanding of both human and horse psychology to offer sport psychology coaching.
Equine Assisted Counselling: A Bachelor's Degree in Human and Social Development has provided Michelle Valentine with formal training in counselling support, in addition to certification in Equine Assisted Growth and Learning to facilitate equine assisted personal growth sessions.
